Fire Protection Systems for the Mining Industry

...

Our experience in the design of solutions for the protection of mining corporations against fire hazards in Mexico had given us the abilities needed in the market to understand the necessities of our clients, identifying important factors, that go from the supply, and repairs, to the preventive (an/or programmed) installation and corrective maintenance of the required equipment. Our experience allows us to provide proper solutions for the main risks associated with the processes of extraction, processing, smelting, and refining, reducing the possibilities of human losses, in equipment and minimizing the damage in the chain of production in the mines. Our staff is certified in the strictest standards of the segment, and we only provide certified equipment by international standards, such as UL and FM.

ALARMS AND DETECTION SYSTEMS FOR MINING.

We are aware of the importance of detecting quickly the risk associated with smoke, and other types of toxic gas, such as carbon monoxide and dioxide, sulfur dioxide, or diesel particles. We use a gas, smoke, and heat detection system. We have an explosive gas detection system to detect explosions caused by gases such as methane and other natural gases. In ISCISA we offer advice and supply of early detection systems that allow to control, disperse or stop situations that put lives and assets at risk in confined areas, production areas and mining equipment.

TYPES OF SYSTEMS

The particular conditions demanded by each mining project have led us to cover all the types of fire suppression required by the industry:
• Automatic sprinkler systems for areas in general.
• Automatic sprinkler systems dedicated exclusively to mining equipment and conveyor belts.
• Flooding systems, both for equipment and tanks or containers of hazardous and volatile materials.
• Fire systems based on hoses and (or) monitors.
• Fire Extinguishing systems with clean agents such as NOVEC, FM-200, ECARO, among other options.
• Fire Extinguisher systems by mixtures with foaming chemical products.
